In this world of imitations

The scene could never handle the weight of reality

It would collapse upon itself

Down below

Where the few live

Some of whom have a mere grasp of their wholeness

They do not live amongst the actors above

They are located here

Deep down

Where all things end

It is a reality we all share

Even the actors

But they are too cowardly to face it

They push it down for us to feed on

For it wasn't meant for everyone

It would be too much to bear for them

That's why there aren't many of us

Nevertheless

Our shared strength keeps the floor from collapsing

Even if the entire cast were to all stand on it

Our might would keep them from falling

If you cannot see the gleam in their eyes

Let them look at the shadows for a bit longer

For they will naturally grow tired of

And join us

Or die believing in them.
