Who Am I ?

I am punctual, I come to you when needed be.

Our meetings between you and I are recurring and inevitable.

The choice is yours to face me or not.

Some attach themselves onto me so easily

When they collapse, I have company

Others run away from me, but they never get far.

They always end up out of breath or bizarre.

The neglect of me is absurd

I am not hard to master.

When man cry for mercy

My craft leaves them in disaster

I can change in various forms depending on how you perceive me

I can be

A Mother, loving & caring.

When I hold you in my arms, I crush your spine whilst you simulate an artificial smile.

A Child, careless & unpredictable.

You bear me onto your arms and accept me as I am

A Teacher helpful & understanding in my essence

You can siphon knowledge out of me.

For most, seldom do they learn from me

Treat me with respect and I will guide you to your next step.

Amend yourself and you will see less of me

We will meet again, my friend.
